• Day 1: New client. Kind of shifty. They always are. Boss wants his stuff back. Thought he was an adventurer. DW claims to be scion of Ascali nobility. Couple horns and a tail short, bub. Sent S & P to research. Went whoring at the Dancer on Deepwinter's tab. Some fucking silver ball thing, wtf.
• Day 2: Someone dropped a book in my mail slot. "On the Rise and Fall of Ascal", by Anathair Hawkfeather. Gotta get a guard for that door. Checked out Hawkfeather's house. Two bodies. S&M chick caught on scene, failed to apprehend. Told the cops about the bodies.
• Day 3: Had a chat with Hawkfeather & friend. Not dead. Dropped the book. Deepwinter not on the level. Mask is real evil. Great. Went to go chat with Deepwinter at rented house (Fair Winds, Castle Ward). Nice guy. Larson's a dick.
• Day 4: Decided to work with Starfire. Got attacked by summoned badgers. Wtf?
• Day 5: Asked Nikki to seduce old man Eltorchul to get a "component". Sid helped. Don't wanna think about that. Looks like the Arcane Brotherhood is in town.
• Day 6: Penny got taken in by Deepwinter. Crashed the joint. Knew he was bad news. Fucking vampire. Fucking Enochian sigil. Arc Bro attacked on the way out. Made plans for infiltration of House Eltorchul. Talked to Deepwinter again. Gotta take the mask to Big Daddy in Undertown.
• Day 7: The big event. Infiltrated the house. Turns out Thesp is dead. Arc Bro attacks w/ undead. Fuck. Starfire retrieved items as planned. Steamrolled Fea/Oth. Fucking devilsaur animated, chased us downtown. Penny blew it up with a rocket. Shit. Jumped in the Hole (note to self: fuck Durnan). Killed some lesser furies. Tossed the mask back in the Pit with Mr. Shit-eating Grin. Starfire loses it, runs off into Undertown. Whatever. Case closed.
